"The better you move, the better you feel!”
Welcome to Concordia Spine & Sport, located in downtown Concordia. We provide chiropractic care for the whole family in North Central Kansas. Our mission is to eliminate pain utilizing chiropractic adjustments and manual therapies. Then, if necessary, use functional rehabilitation to correct the movements that were responsible for the injury. This unique approach allows patients to feel better and move better, which decreases the likelihood of re-injury. Our goal is to help you recover faster, understand the faulty biomechanics of your injury better, and then develop habits that strengthen or improve those movements.

OUR SERVICES
Chiropractic Care

Manipulation of the joints of the spine and extremities (arms & legs) to restore motion to fixated segments determined by Motion Palpation, which sets the standard for functional manual care
Flexion-Distraction

Specific technique designed to treat difficult low back pain cases that may be facing spinal surgery. It's spinal manipulation combined with decompression using evidence based protocols to treat disc injuries and lower extremities radiculopathies (pain going down the legs)
Movement Screening
Proper diagnosis of a muscle, joint, or peripheral nerve injury requires examining the body in regions (instead of isolated parts) to systematically find the CAUSE of pain - not just the SOURCE. This ensures that treatment properly focuses on injury prevention as well as recovery
Functional Rehabilitation

To fully resolve an injury, proper stabilization and strength must be restored. Combining mobility drills and strengthening exercises, functional rehabilitation focuses on educating a person on how to properly move in order to prevent re-injury
D.O.T. Physicals
Fast, affordable, driver friendly exams that satisfy all FMCSA guidelines in order to keep you on the road
Activator Method
This technique uses a small, hand-held instrument to deliver a gentle impulse force to the spine with the goal of restoring motion to the targeted spinal vertebral joint
PATIENTS
What to Expect:

When you first enter our office as a new patient, we ask that you complete some initial paperwork pertaining to your condition. Upon completion, Dr. Will begins by performing a consultation and examination to determine the cause and contributors of your pain. If Dr. Will determines that additional imaging is necessary to diagnose your condition, we will refer to a nearby facility. We do not refer every patient for diagnostic imaging. We will order these tests only if we feel it is necessary in making the diagnosis and choosing the best treatment option.
After the evaluation, Dr. Will explains what is the most likely cause of your pain and the most appropriate treatment to address the problem. Treatment is most likely to begin on the same day. A new patient can take up to forty-five minutes from the time you arrive until the time you leave. Any follow-up visits, if necessary, typically last approximately ten to fifteen minutes. We will do everything we can to run on time and make your experience as comfortable as possible.

Our Approach
Concordia Spine & Sport was launched in early 2013 with the mission of improving the quality of life for patients in the Concordia and North Central Kansas area. We do this by blending chiropractic care and functional rehabilitation. Chiropractic care is essential when trying to restore proper joint mobility and when combined with functional rehabilitation allows for a patient to improve movement habits that are most likely the cause of the injury.
The primary focus in our office is restoring quality of movement. The best approach for relieving pain, improving movement, and building resiliency to future injuries is to combine chiropractic adjustments with functional rehabilitation that strengthen and stabilize a previous injury.
This approach tends to result in patients experiencing better outcomes with longer periods of relief from symptoms. Patients often report having a much better understanding of why they were in pain, which then allowed them to properly evaluate what they were doing throughout the day to aggravate their symptoms. This type of patient education and empowerment will continue to serve as our foundation when serving our patients.

ABOUT THE DOCTOR
Dr. Jeremy Will is originally from Gypsum, KS where he attended Southeast of Saline H.S., graduating in 2004. While in high school, Dr. Will competed in a variety of sports including wrestling, football, golf, and track. He received his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology (the study of human movement) from Kansas State University before being accepted in to the doctoral program at Logan Chiropractic College. Following over three years of extensive coursework and clinic rotations, Dr. Will graduated from Logan College, in St. Louis, MO, in 2011.
Dr. Will returned home to begin his chiropractic career, joining an established practice in Salina, KS. It didn’t take long before Dr. Will felt the urge to branch out to establish his own practice. Beginning in May of 2013, Dr. Will opened Concordia Spine & Sport; a facility that focuses on helping those that are hurting, but also empowering patients to take a lead role in understanding the behaviors or environment that are responsible for their need for care.
Becoming a chiropractor had been the career path Dr. Will had chosen long before leaving Kansas State. During his childhood, Dr. Will suffered from intense headaches and severe migraines. Having been to the ER multiples times due to the severity of the migraines, options for relief and the hopes of prevention seemed to be running out. A local chiropractor suggested he be evaluated for treatment, even though the X-rays and CAT scans performed at the hospital showed no pathological explanations for the debilitating headaches. Within just a few treatments, the headaches had subsided and the severe migraines never returned. Dr. Will was moved by how someone was able to make someone feel so much better with an adjustment delivered with their hands, and it drove him to be able to offer that feeling to others someday. It is that powerful experience as a chiropractic patient that continues to drive Dr. Will when treating patients to this day.
While not treating patients, Dr. Will enjoys hunting and playing golf, as well as going to watch his K-State Wildcats play football with his wife, Krystin. He also volunteers his time as the head coach for the Con-Kids wrestling club.
